“… But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” Acts 1:8
Growing up overseas missions was where I thought I find my life long vocation. God has lead me down another path but has blessed me with a job that allows me the time to do ministry overseas and here at home. I enjoy being an active part of my local church- being a part of the missions team, teaching English as a Second Language, and being a Middle School Sunday School teacher. I have also helped with Envision projects in Cleveland – helping to show God love by cleaning up different communities and sharing with the neighbors about our True Hope. It is important for me to be a witness at home and overseas. Being a part of the Mennonite Mutual team that encourages giving back to others and showing God’s love in all we do is a real blessing. For the past several years I have been able to go and work with international works and youth in Spain, Africa, Thailand, and France. When I leave the US, there is a real peace and joy knowing that the team at Mennonite Mutual is praying and supporting me. The office recently raised over $400 for me to take to Africa to help the English school there. I count it a privilege to serve our customers in the growing of their faith-based ministries.
